Auguste Gusteau comes to the restaurant of the great chef. Remy and Linguini (an inexpert dishwasher) become big friends and want to be the most prestigious chefs of France. Remy hides in Linguini's hat, controlling his movements to help him to obtain very good recipes.
Remy is the office on the chef Gusteau finds a document that says: that Linguini is the son of Gusteau and owner of the restaurant.
The critic of Anton Ego visits the restaurant Gusteau to give a critique.
Remy and Linguini prepare the saucer ratatouille that forces to Ego to give a good critique. The food was done by the rat Remy, and closed the restaurant Gusteau and they open another called restaurant (Ratatouille.)
